I create handmade vintage junk journals designed as meaningful objects — unique gifts shaped by stories, textures, and emotions.
The Inspiration behind the Creation
My name is Elisabeth, Lizbeth is one of my nicknames, and the name under which I create. I am French and I split my time between France and the United States, two countries that fuel my inspiration and influence my choices.
I have always been drawn to creative expression in many forms: reading, writing, painting, needlework, decorating, and thrifting — passions that have been part of my life for years.
Some time ago, I discovered the world of junk journaling.
It felt like a natural fit.
This art form brings together everything I love: old papers, textures, materials, details, and the freedom to create without rigid rules.
Since then, I have immersed myself in this world of fragments — reclaimed papers, vintage documents, fibers, and printed elements — to create journals that are unique, alive, and intentionally imperfect.
Why Personalized Journals
At first, I enjoyed creating themed journals.
But over time, I felt the desire to go deeper.
Creating for a specific person — inspired by their story, their sensibility, and what they love — became an endless source of inspiration.
Every life is unique.
Every story deserves to be expressed in a meaningful way.
If my journals can carry a piece of that story and create emotion, then I have achieved my purpose.
My Commitment: Emotion & Authenticity
Each journal is a composition.
I combine vintage papers, reclaimed materials, and printed designs with intention, playing with textures, colors, and layers.
Nothing is standardized.
Each journal is crafted slowly by hand, with its own imperfections, balance, and character.
Materials and Creation
Many of the embellishments and details in my journals are handmade from repurposed materials that have been carefully transformed.
Expired credit or store cards, concert tickets, receipts, labels, ribbons, or small everyday objects find a new life in my creations, bringing texture, character, and uniqueness to each journal.
